Billie's Trip To Miami

From: Dailymail.co.uk
As Britain endures the Big Chill, it seems most celebrities are migrating to sunnier climes to celebrate New Year.
Billie Piper, 26, and husband Laurence Fox, 30, are taking a winter break in Miami with their two-month-old son Winston James. The Doctor Who actress looked to be taking to her latest role – motherhood – with ease.
An onlooker said: ‘She looked relaxed, content and just generally very happy. They seemed like any other young family. Billie clearly adores her son.’
The family spent the afternoon on a public beach in Miami. Fox attempted to read and sunbathe, while Piper relaxed in the shade and cradled the child, who was wrapped in a sarong.
The couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on New Year’s Eve. Piper appeared considerably better rested than she has in recent weeks.
Last month she was pictured with a look of exhaustion familiar to any new mother as she attempted to take Winston on a trip to the supermarket.
The baby has only been seen a handful of times in public since he was born by Caesarean section at the private Portland Hospital in London on October 21.
She gave birth after a gruelling 26-hour labour. He weighed 6lb 11oz. The star of ITV’s Secret Diary Of A Call Girl has said she plans to take a break from acting to concentrate on her family.
Check out the article on the daily mail website for pictures, they look so adorable together, Winston is so cute, hope the have a good time!

The Shadow In The North On Tonight

The Shadow in The North is on Alibi, tonight at 7pm, don’t forget to watch it, its awesome! Here’s a small article about it from the Alibi website!

-"Phillip Pullman is best known for the smash-hit His Dark Materials trilogy. But he’s also the creator of the thrilling fantastical Sally Lockhart series. And here’s the second of her adventures to be brought to the small screen.
Billie Piper – having completed her unlikely trajectory from has-been singer to national treasure – first played Sally in The Ruby in the Smoke, adapted from the first of Phillip Pullman’s Lockhart yarns. Pullman, who has achieved immense acclaim for his titanic His Dark Materials novels, describes the Sally Lockhart stories as “old-fashioned Victorian blood-and-thunder” – unashamedly OTT with breathless heroes and diabolical villains."

Billie Renews Wedding Vows

New mother Billie Piper and husband Laurence Fox plan to celebrate their first wedding anniversary by recreating their marriage and renewing their vows.
Laurence, 30, who starred in the TV thriller Wired, married Billie after they met while appearing in a stage play together last year.

Winston was born by emergency Caesarean section weighing 6lb 11oz at London’s Portland Hospital. Unusually, Billie has remained so close to ex-husband DJ Chris Evans, that he was among the first to visit after Winston’s birth.

Billie’s former Dr Who co-star David Tennant is among those invited, though it is uncertain whether he will manage to attend due to his back injury, which has forced him to step down from his role as Hamlet in a Royal Shakespeare Company production.
The happy couple – who wed on New Year’s Eve – have made a pact to do so every year.
“It’s a very sweet thing and they want to reinstate their love every year with a mock wedding re-bonding and re-tying the knot,” revealed a source close to the singer and actress, 26.
“Billie says she’ll stop short of wearing her ivory wedding dress but she will be wearing that same black coat she was pictured in draped over her shoulders.”

The couple, who welcomed their first child – Winston James – in October, are set to visit the Parish Church of St Mary’s near their home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, on December 31.
“They plan to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the White Horse Pub which is where they celebrated their wedding,” added the source.
They have, we hear, invited “a small group of close friends” to their £750,000 home after the pub.

Billie Does Her Bit For Charity.

Billie Piper has made a pledge to give one per cent of her earnings to charity for the first ten weeks of the New Year.
The television leading lady told me she was ‘delighted’ to be part of a new fundraising effort called Taking on the Tough Stuff, organised by Comic Relief for Red Nose Day.
The effort, whereby British actors will be asked to donate one per cent of their pay cheques between January 1 and March 13 (the actual Red Nose Day) will help Comic Relief to tackle social issues involving the underprivileged.
Billie, who emerged as a star after playing Rose opposite David Tennant in BBC’s Dr Who, joins charter members Bill Nighy, Sophie Okonedo and James McAvoy, James Nesbitt, Natascha McElhone and Laurence Fox in helping to highlight the initiative.

Get Well Soon

Earlier this week, the actor was unable to take part in a peformance of Hamlet due to his injury, and the Royal Shakespeare Company has released a statement confirming that he won't be returning to the stage until after Christmas while he recovers from the operation.
"My back problem has progressed to the point where it is currently impossible for me to carry on without surgery," Tennant said earlier this week.
His role in Hamlet will be played by his understudy, Edward Bennett, until he returns in the New Year. Tennant added: "I want to get back onstage as quickly as possible and I am very grateful to Ed who has courageously got to grips with the role but in a much shorter time. It's a fantastic achievement."
CrazyBoutBillie would like to wish David a very speedy recovery!

Call Girl Three In 2009

Where are you at with series three right now?
“We haven’t started pre-production officially. Official pre-production begins when you’ve hired your director, and that will happen at the end of February. But we have five scripts now and we’ll commission another three soon, so right now we’re really working on the scripts and the stories.”

How many series have you planned for?
“We’re only planning for this series, but we’ve always got our eye on the next series. So, for example, we won’t be killing anybody off. We don’t know yet if we’re having a fourth series - we would hope to - but we have to make sure we have an eye on our richest characters to carry us through. So obviously that’s Belle, but there’s also Bambi (Ashley Madekwe), who is a significant character in series two and will be in three. And Ben (Iddo Goldberg) and Belle’s family.”

What else can we expect from series three?
“The main thing is that she’s trying to be a writer and that’s affecting her escorting work a lot, because she’s trying to get bigger and better experiences in the bedroom in order to be able to write about it. So you get the comic effect of that, because she knows she’s going to have to write about the experience. You can also expect Bambi to meet an extraordinary client, who she falls in love with, and Ben to decide that he’s got to grow up and take his life in a whole new direction.”

Happy Birthday Doctor Who!

Doctor Who is today celebrating its 45th anniversary! It was this day over four decades ago that the Time Lord first appeared on our TV screens...

It was just a grainy black and white image back then, originally created to fill a gap in the BBC TV schedule, but all of these years on, and after more than 20 series and a TV movie, our favourite show is still going as strong as ever!

Since it began in 1963, there have been a record-breaking 751 episodes, officially making it the longest running sci-fi programme in history.

CrazyBoutBillie would just like to wish Doctor Who a very happy birthday. Thanks for the memories!

New Mum Billie looking smiles better!

What a difference three days can make. Or in this case, perhaps a few good nights’ sleep.
On Tuesday, Billie Piper was pictured with a look of exhaustion familiar to any new mother. But the actress, who gave birth to baby Winston after a long and difficult labour a month ago, seemed to have undergone a transformation before venturing out on Friday.
Billie looked happy and fully rested as she left her West Sussex home, with her neat make-up and carefully styled hair complemented by manicured nails. She wore patent leather red high heels and a camel coat as she joined husband Laurence Fox and Winston for an autumn stroll.Just three days earlier it had been a different story. T
he star of ITV’s Secret Diary Of A Call Girl and the BBC’s Doctor Who looked worn out during a trip to the supermarket.Clearly enthralled by her tiny son, Billie, 26, had told well-wishers: ‘Things are good.’

Billie Takes Us Shopping

Fancy getting in Billie's knickers? The saucy lady was quite happy to help and told us where we could go to get them. Apparently it's on the high street!?

Marks and Spencer - It's the underwear of the nation, from your first bra to the all important 'hold your tummy in' knickers this is a great place to get underwear for all occasions. The matching set are great - Billie's favorite. She said ‘you can’t beat M&S’! She never used to be in to matching sets and nice underwear, but Since Secret Diary of a Call Girl she’s got really in to it!

La Perla - A great shop if you're looking for something a little special but don't want it to look cheap. It seems that designer sexy is what it's all about now and everything from La Perla is seriously sexy. It may blow the bank though.

Agent Provocateur - It feels a little bit like you're walking onto the set of Secret Diary of a Call Girl when you walk in this shop. Celebs love it too and Lily Allen has been spotted popping her pretty little head in and leaving with a few bags full of knickers.

Billie To Be The 11th Doctor?

Actor David Tennant has hinted Billie Piper could become the next Doctor Who.
The star, 37, last week sensationally revealed he was quitting the Cardiff-filmed hit sci-fi after winning the Outstanding Drama Performance gong at the National Television Awards.
Following his announcement, speculation about who would take over reached fever pitch, with Cold Feet star James Nesbitt and John Simm, of Life on Mars, being named front-runners in the race to find the next Doctor.
But yesterday there was a new twist after Tennant was asked if he could ever envisage a female – or his one-time side kick Rose Tyler, played by actress Billie Piper – becoming the 11th incarnation of the character.
He replied: “Why not?”
And he added: “It’s one of those parts that any actor could bring something valid to because it can be anything and it’s a blank canvas every time.

Other favourites include David Morrissey, of television drama State of Play, Little Britain star David Walliams and James Nesbitt.

Billie's Stalker In Court Again

A happy Halloween to all those that celebrate it and hope you have a awesome day & night whatever your doing!
A stalker who once sent actress Billie Piper death threats has been sentenced for harassing four new victims. Juliette Peters, 39, threatened to kill Shawleene Campbell, Nicola Barron and her neighbours. She admitted the charges at an earlier hearing at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court. She has been sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence of 52 weeks each for all five counts. A restraining order was also granted to prevent her from making any contact with any of the four women. Peters left a string of abusive calls on Piper's record company's answering machine between August 14 and 25, 2000, after becoming convinced she had given her "sly, dirty looks" as she sat in the studio audience a music show.

Who's got baby tips for Billie?

Doctor Who star Noel Clarke warned Billie to get prepared for some sleepless nights. The 32-year-old actor and director of Adulthood told TV Biz that as a father of a little boy, he's used to the sleepless nights and joked that he hopes Billie had plenty of kip before she gave birth to baby Winston last week.

Noel, who plays Mickey Smith in the show, said he was at the National Television Awards to support co-stars Catherine Tate and David Tennant - who last night announced that he was quitting the popular BBC One sci-fi series. Noel said: "I haven't seen Billie yet - I think she's got her hands full at the moment! "As a Dad, I know from experience that she'll have plenty of sleepless nights ahead of her."

Billie May Be In Hospital For A Week

New mother Billie Piper may have to spend another seven days in hospital, her husband said. The actress, 26, gave birth to a son by emergency Caesarean at 1am yesterday (Tuesday) after a 26-hour labour.

Her husband, actor Laurence Fox, said the mother and baby were "good". But speaking outside the private Portland Hospital in central London today, he added: "She had a Caesarean. It was quite a major thing wasn't it." He said doctors told the couple she might not be ready to go home for "five days to a week".

The couple named their newborn son, weighing 6lb 11oz, Winston James Fox. Laurence said: "It's a good name, isn't it?" Billie's agent declined to say why the couple decided on the name, which means "joyful stone". Visibly tired as he left the hospital to smoke, Laurence said he hadn't changed his jeans and jumper for three days.

He said he hoped to find out more about when his wife and newborn son would be able to return home later in the day.

Winston James Fox Is Born!

Congratulations to Billie and Laurence on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Winston James Fox! Billie gave birth earlier today, mother and baby are both said to be doing well and new dad Laurence told reporters outside the hospital: 'I feel fantastic'.

Im so happy for you both, if we get any more news it will be posted asap!

Edit: Chris Evans who visited Billie this afternoon told reporters outside the Hospital that the baby weighed 6lb 11oz! Aww so cute! The Radio 2 DJ said mother and baby were "fantastic". Evans said, "Mum is very happy and I am really pleased, there are some tears of joy up there." He added that Piper is expected to be in hospital until at least tonight. Her husband Laurence Fox drove her to the hospital and was present for the birth. Mr Fox celebrated the birth with a pint of lager in the local Green Man pub next to the Portland yesterday with a group of friends.

The proud father showed off mobile phone pictures of his son. Mr Fox told friends: 'You have no idea what's going on but it's amazing.' He told friends that he had initially panicked because he couldn't get the car to start after his wife went into labour. But while Fox remained close-lipped on the name of their newborn when asked about his son's name, he said: 'That's a private moment.'Billie's ex-husband Chris Evans wasn't quite so discreet, revealing on his blog that Piper and Fox had named their baby Winston James Fox. He wrote: "At the time of this writing, the little fella is not even fifteen hours old. "He is cute as you like and didn't cry once for the few minutes I was there which was just a few moments ago." Evans said the boy was born at 1am. The Radio 2 DJ was one of the first visitors to arrive - bearing a present - at the hospital with new wife, golfer Natasha Shishmanian.

A tired-looking Laurence said of his new-born son: "He is beautiful, he is sweet." When asked about Billie's labour, he said she was in labour for 26 hours before coming to the hospital in the early hours of this morning.

Billie is just a few days off becoming a mum

Pregnant Billie Piper looked ready to pop as she went for a stroll in the autumn sun this weekend. The Secret Diary of a Call Girl star, 26, is due to give birth within days. And husband Laurence Fox, 30, betrayed the tension by puffing on a cigarette as he counted down the hours to the arrival of their first child.
Billie, now wowing her army of fans in the second series of the steamy ITV2 series, was out for lunch with her man in Midhurst, West Sussex.Laurence, currently playing the villain in ITV's bank-fraud thriller Wired, will find this week anything but a drag.

Chris Evans: My Wife and Billie were competing to get pregnant

Chris Evans has revealed that wife Natasha Shishmanian and his ex-missus Billie Piper had a race to see who could get pregnant first.

The DJ and actress have remained close since their break-up and the couples often go out together. But Chris says he lost the challenge because he's not as young as Billie's new husband Laurence Fox.

'You know they had a baby race, to see who could get in the family way first,' he tells the Daily Star Sunday. 'I've never talked about this before but it's true. 'And Billie thrashed us. It wasn't so much that Billie thrashed us or Tash, it was the fact that Laurence her husband thrashed me.'

Billie, 26, who married Laurence, 30, last year, is due to give birth next month. Chris, 42, and Natasha, 28, are also expecting their baby in the New Year.

Will you by buying the new Doc Who CD?

Billie buys a sensible maternity dress as birth date looms large

Pregnant actress Billie Piper opted for a sensible maternity dress as she took a stroll through her hometown of Swindon today. The 26-year-old, who is seven months pregnant with her first child with husband Lawrence Fox, looked glowing as she showed off her baby bump.
It was a far cry from the racy sheer grey dress the Doctor Who star wore to attend an engagement at Capital Radio last month when her growing belly could clearly be seen through the revealing lightweight frock which left little to the imagination.Billie was previously married to DJ Chris Evans for six years before the pair divorced last year. She wed Lawrence on New Year's Eve last year in Easebourne, West Sussex.

Speaking about her pregnancy recently, Billie revealed she is mildly apprehensive about the birth, and has become fanatical about having scans.
'Some women are all about this glowing, blooming thing, aren't they?' she said.
'I haven't really tapped into that. I've basically replaced all my vices for a new one - control. 'I've had about 10 scans and I bought one of those baby heart monitor things. Such a bad idea - its like listening to a huge shell on the beach.'But I do love it.
The whole thing is just so sweet, tender and adorable.'

Billie : "I Have No Interest In Breaking America"

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl has been a huge success in the US – but its star Billie Piper says she has no intention on capitalising on her high profile over there.
She is due to give birth next month to her first child with husband Laurence Fox, 30, and admits she doesn't understand the lure Hollywood.‘That world breeds neurosis and issues,’ she says. ‘I don’t think I could handle all that. That mad side of it all just doesn’t appeal.‘I’ve got a baby coming. And I know it’s going to make me a lot happier than anything else,’ she tells Grazia.
Billie, 25, is also uncertain about returning to work after the birth.'I don't know if I'm going to go: "I can't work any more. This is all I want," or if I'm going to go: "I'll do this for a few months and then need to combine it with some work,"' she says.

Billie's Ferrel Ambition

Billie Piper wants to be in a Will Ferrell movie!

The ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’ actress is keen to make the move from TV to movies, and says starring alongside the US comedian would be a dream start to her Hollywood career.
She said: “I’d love to be in a Will Ferrell movie - that would be so much fun!”
Billie - who is expecting her first child with husband Laurence Fox - is considering reprising her role as prostitute Belle du Jour for a third series of the hugely popular show.

She said: “My ambitions have all changed recently. We are talking about doing a third series of ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’ next year but it’s early days. You don’t know whether you want to commit to anything because I don’t really know what is going to happen to me or the baby.”

Secret Diary Of A Call Girl gets 748,000 Viewers

The second series of ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl’, in which Billie Piper plays the titular prostitute, opened far short of the first series ratings with just 748,000 viewers on ITV2 last night, according to unofficial overnight figures.

SD Australian Review

Billie Piper plays Belle de Jour who says she's a whore - proudly and contentedly so.

Type: Drama
Channel: 9
Date: Tuesday September 9
Time: 10:30 PM
Her friends and family think she works as a late-night legal secretary, but as Belle de Jour (Billie Piper, Doctor Who, The Sally Lockhart Mysteries) told us in last week's opening scene she's a whore - proudly and contentedly so. "Do you go to work every day knowing your day will be profitable and pleasurable?" she says. "Do you go to sleep every night feeling satisfied and sated? I do."

Based on The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl by the real Belle de Jour, it's all very European and very 1960s - from the French score to the sensuous cinematography to the way Billie talks directly to the camera when sharing her views on sex, her life and the psychology of her job.Piper leaves little to the imagination and even less unsaid - language warning - as she plays the detached, sex-loving escort to perfection (er, I'm told), managing a combination of the risque and seductiveness that is already drifting towards pathos. This is the real Sex and the City.

Billie:The Sun

At just 25 Billie Piper has already been married twice, sunk into suicidal despair and recovered from anorexia. She has topped the charts as a teen pop star and won awards after reinventing herself as a stylish actress.

But now she is putting her hectic lifestyle behind her and facing up to the biggest challenge of her life — motherhood. The eight-months pregnant star, who married actor Laurence Fox last New Year’s Eve after a year-long romance, admits to being more relaxed than she has ever been. And she is loving taking time off work and preparing for the baby.

Billie tells The Sun: “I don’t really sit down and smell the roses, ever, but perhaps I should do it more often. Because right now life is really good, it couldn’t be better.

“I’m very much into being at home at the moment. I don’t know when I’ll work again. I’m really just enjoying relaxing and I can’t imagine doing anything else.”

Billie has come a long way from the pressured pop star who, at 16, came close to trying to take her life with pills in a Chicago hotel room. And there is no doubt she deserves a rest after five years of almost back-to-back filming TV shows including Doctor Who, The Ruby In The Smoke, Canterbury Tales and Mansfield Park.

Secret Diary

The new series of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl will start on Thursday 11th September at 22:00pm on ITV2 and will be a double bill, with episodes 1 and 2 being shown back to back.

Episode 1:

A journalist tries to blackmail Belle after he spots her with a client who turns out to be a politician. She also finds trouble in the form of Bambi, a girl with aspirations of becoming a high-class escort.

Episode 2:

Belle considers plastic surgery and agrees to go a date with Alex. Meanwhile, Bambi finds herself in a dangerous situation.
I have also added a trailer to the site which is now showing on all ITV channels.

Billie's Baby

Pregnant Billie Piper says she felt like a “sweating sea cow” when filming scenes for the new series of raunchy ITV show Secret Diary Of A Call Girl.
Billie, 25, pictured in costume as high‑class hooker Belle in the series based on the internet blogs of former London call girl Belle de Jour, struggled with her growing bump on set.
“I had no food cravings other than wanting food constantly,” jokes the actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Laurence Fox in October.
“This year I found the heat very uncomfortable and that, coupled with the fact that I was growing every day, the lack of sleep and the desire to just sit on my bum and stuff my face, was not conducive to work.
“I was thirsty all the time and always needing the toilet – which is really unhelpful when working to such a tight schedule.“When I am playing Belle I have to play a sexually liberated, empowered young prostitute but unfortunately I felt like a sweating sea cow!”

The second series of the show, which is a big hit in the US, begins next month – and thankfully filming for a third series will start once Billie has given birth.
Lets hope shes feeling better soon!

Secret Diary Updates

Billie Piper has filmed her sexiest TV scenes yet — as a high-class hooker offering fetish sex. The blonde actress has warned fans the second series of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl will go further than before. Billie, 25 — who plays escort Belle de Jour — told TV Biz:

“There are some very unusual fetishes coming up. “As long as they’ve got the right money, Belle will make anyone’s fantasy come true for them.”

Belle’s menu of saucy hardcore fetishes will even overshadow the last series of the ITV2 show, when she took part in threesomes, spanking and swinging. But the second series wasn’t easy to film as Billie fell pregnant with her first child.

She said: “I needed two body doubles in the end. “As I got more and more pregnant I began to gain weight so it looked silly having a really skinny body double.” But the star — now seven months pregnant and wed to actor Laurence Fox, 29 — does not think the Call Girl series goes too far. She insists it has a very human message.

Billie added: “If people can watch The Sopranos and identify with mafia boss Tony, who’s a murdering gangster, then they should be able to understand where Belle’s coming from.”

Steven Moffat Rules Out Rose Comeback

Steven Moffat has axed Rose Tyler from appearing in Series Five of Doctor Who after he labelled the character as being 'too needy'.

Rose was last seen at the end of Series Four. The Doctor left her on her parallel world with a clone version of him. But the new show runner has confirmed that as long as he's in charge, Billie Piper won't be reprising the much-loved role.

"You have to hand it to the Doctor for dumping a slightly needy girlfriend by palming her off on a copy of himself," he said, speaking at the ComicCon event in LA.

"He tried leaving her in a parallel universe and that didn’t work!"

This decision isn't set to go down well with fans, after Rose was recently voted the nation's all time favourite companion.

Is Rose Gone Forever?

Doctor Who's new show runner Steven Moffat has decided to start afresh for Series 5 by saying goodbye to the friends and foes we've met since the show was revived in 2005.

"Fans always look back, but shows have to look forward," he said whilst attending the ComicCon in San Diego, California. "There’s a brand new audience of kids for Doctor Who each year and they have to think it’s their programme, not some relic that belongs to their parents."

He added: "I'm as obsessed with the show's past as many in the audience, but I have to resist my impulse and keep everything fresh.

"Wiping the slate clean would also mean that the Doctor's oldest nemesis, the Daleks, won't be returning in 2010. According to the man himself, this is a good thing as he plans to introduce new enemies and monsters for the Time Lord to battle.

"You've got to be careful you don't make the universe seem like it's got about seven people in it, all about to be exterminated by the Daleks," he explained. "You want it to be a big, wide-ranging universe."

However, he refused to comment on whether or not his clear-out would include Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper, who was last seen at the end of Series 4 starting a new life on a parallel world with a clone of the Doctor.

When Doctor Who Met Top Gear

The BBC have released a mash up video of Doctor Who and Top Gear, combining Star In A Resonably Priced Car with clips of the TARDIS in flight.

Matt Taylor of the BBC's Repeats & Reversioning team had the idea, after being inspired by his colleague Simon Catt. The end result impressed their boss Gill Holmes and eventually found its way to Mark Harrison, Head of the BBC's Multiplatform Studio and then to Peter Salmon, Chief Creative Officer of the BBC Vision Studio.
