Billie Sheds Her Super High Heels

Following the birth of her first child Billie Piper has had precious little chance to wear her heel collection.
And after squeezing into a pair of super high heels last night the new mother must have been feeling the pinch - ending up bare footed.
Billie and husband Lawrence Fox took a rare evening off from caring for five-month-old Winston to dine at the upmarket Scott’s restaurant in London’s Mayfair.
The 26-year-old actress began the evening wearing a sky high pair of black designer stilettos.
The shoes were on show as she and Fox climbed into their cab to head to a friend’s house in Lambeth.
But when Billie emerged she was carrying the heels and risking her bare feet on the dirty pavement.
Perhaps the shoes were rubbing the feet of the former Doctor Who actress, who has had little chance to wear her heel collection over the last few months.
She recently admitted that since giving birth to her son in October she has been constantly exhausted.
‘I had absolutely no idea how tiring being a mum was - or how hard mums have to work.’
She explained: ‘He’s a restless sleeper. ‘He gives us hope, then he changes his routine.’

Billie hopes to make it for The Big Weekend

Check out todays Chris Moyles show here, Billie’s on about twenty minutes before the the end!
Swindon born actress Billie Piper rang into the Chris Moyles Radio 1 show this morning to say how pleased she was to hear the Big Weekend is coming to the town.
Moyles told Billie the event was to be staged at Lydiard Park on May 9 and 10. ”Lydiard Park!” she said. “I used to smoke there and snog boys there.”
Billie, calling from the home she shares with husband actor Laurence Fox and baby Winston, told Moyles she was enjoying motherhood.
“It’s harder than I thought,” she said. “It’s great and it’s brilliant but it’s definitely tough at times.” She said she was planning a visit to Swindon soon with her family and would hopefully make it to the Big Weekend.

Billie on The Justin Lee Collins Show

Billie Piper and Catherine Tate will be the first guests on Justin Lee Collins’ brand new ITV2 chatshow, entitled The Justin Lee Collins Show.
The Doctor Who stars will be joining Justin for some fun and frolics - and a spot of karaoke!

The shaggy-haired TV star is about to embark on his own self-titled chat show and luckily his first guests, Catherine Tate and Billie Piper, are people he already knows.
Justin said: “Catherine Tate has done The Sunday Night Project, Billie Piper was our first-ever guest on the show that used to be The Friday Night Project, so I have worked with them before, we’ve got previous, they’re both wonderful, I am a big fan of both of them.
“They are coming on not to plug anything, they are just coming on to talk and that’s what the Justin Lee Collins Show is all about. Just come on and have a chat. Billie in particular, just coming on for a chat, nothing to promote, just coming on for the fun.”
The Justin Lee Collins Show, with Piper and Tate, will air on Thursday 19th March 2009 at 10pm on ITV2 - don't miss it!

England's Own Brad and Angelina

Billie Piper and Laurence Fox reckon they’ll be Britain’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Not as Hollywood megastars perhaps — but as parents of the largest brood of kids in showbiz.
The couple, whose first son Winston was born four months ago, would love to have twins.
Lewis star Laurence, 30, said: “Twins would be good.” He added: “We’ll definitely have more babies. Why not? Why stop at one? I was trying to think of how we can outdo Brad and Ange.
“We need to recover from the shock of baby number one and then, when we forget how tiring it is, we’ll have another.”
He admitted to Heat magazine: “I’m shattered! But no matter how tired I am it’s worth it. We love our baby. Our life is quite simple: Light a fire, sit in the TV room, watch America’s Next Top Model… life’s great.”
However, in two months Billie will be back on set filming the third series of racy ITV2 show Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, where she plays a hooker.
She admitted she’s struggling with the idea of stripping for raunchy sex scenes since becoming a mum.
But she said: “I’ll just have to go in at full pelt because if you’re playing a prostitute, you can’t be precious about someone seeing your nipple.
“But there are certain things I’m sure I’ll feel uncomfortable doing, because you change, I suppose, when you have a baby.”

Billie on The Justin Lee Collins Show!

Billie along with Doctor Who co-star Catherine Tate are set to be the first guests on Justin Lee Collin’s new chat show on March 19th at 10pm on ITV2. Justin’s said “I have worked with them before, we’ve got previous, they’re both wonderful,” he said. Can’t wait, more info soon!

Billie's New Drama

Here’s another article about Billie’s new project. Nothing new, but it seems to be confirmed now. Yay! I can’t wait to hear more!
Secret Diary of a Call Girl actress Billie Piper is in talks to star in a new Tiger Aspect drama being developed for ITV1 about a struggling single mum.
A spokeswoman for ITV confirmed this morning that the project - which is yet to have its name released was in the “very early development stages”.
In the programme, it is believed Piper – who is a new mum herself - will play the main role of a woman living on a rough council estate with her baby daughter and her own mother.
She goes in search of her father, who turns out to be a multi-millionaire living in the country, and the “odd couple” pair forge a close bond while trying to help each other find love.

New Mum Billie To Play Mum

Billie Piper is putting her new-found maternal skills to use — by playing a struggling single mum in an ITV drama.
Fans will see the ex Doctor Who star, who gave birth to son Winston in October, battling life on a rough estate with her baby girl and her own mother.
She goes in search of the dad she’s never met — and finds he is a multi-millionaire living in a run-down country pile. The pair forge a close bond based on their shared inability to hold down a relationship.
And they set about finding a partner for each other. A show insider said last night: “It’s a classic odd couple story. And it has something of the ‘two worlds collide’ about it. Billie’s character sees how the other half live and her old man comes to terms with life on the breadline.”
Billie, 26 — who is wed to actor Laurence Fox — has called motherhood the “toughest job” she has ever had. The Sun told recently how she had vowed to spend her time with Winston until a role came along that “inspires” her.
