Billie to play Jade Goody?

Sometimes controversial bookmaker, Paddy Power, has started taking bets on who will play Jade Goody in the film rumoured to dramatize her life on the big screen. The restrictions of the bets are the film must be the first big screen biography of Goody and it must happen by January 2012.
Michelle Ryan at 2 – 1 is the clear favourite but others include Cameron Diaz, Billie Piper, Kate Winslet and even more comically, Shilpa Shetty at 100 – 1. Shilpa Shetty, a star of Bollywood films, had a bust up with Jade Goody in the Celebrity Big Brother house in which Goody was accused of being racist and received a backlash from the British public for the comments she made – Shetty later forgave Goody

Billie back on Doctor Who?

Please take this as a rumour until the BBC have confirmed it!
Billie Piper will return to Doctor Who with ALL the Time Lord’s former companions as part of David Tennant’s final episode.
Billie, 26, will again play Rose Tyler and teams up with other sidekicks Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) and Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman).
The trio will join forces to take on the Doctor’s revived arch-enemy The Master, played again by John Simm.
The episode sees the Timelord regenerate into the new Doctor (Matt Smith).
An insider said: “This will be the most exciting episode Doctor Who have ever done. We really wanted to get all the companions back on board as a fitting send-off to David.
“And of all the enemies for him to face in his final episode it makes sense for The Master to be the main one. Getting Billie to agree is a real coup, but she loved working on the show so much it didn’t take much convincing.”
Rose — who left after series two — formed the strongest bond with the Doctor out of the female companions. She returned for a few episodes in the last series where she was reunited with the Doctor.
Rose then returned to Earth with a separate half-human version of the Time Lord.
Since she left Doctor Who, Billie has gone on to star in the raunchy ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She plays a high-class hooker in the risque show, which is currently on its third series.

Billie spills the gossip

Billie Piper yesterday admitted her brother and sisters are ashamed of her — and hide her pictures when pals come to visit.
The Secret Diary of a Call Girl star said Charlie and sisters Ellie and Harley don’t want to discuss her success.
Billie, 26, explained: “My siblings ignore anything I do. They find it embarrassing and I get that… they don’t want my success to become the topic of conversation.
“They just take everything down in the house with me on when their mates come round. They just ignore that we are related.” But understanding Billie added: “I don’t blame them.”
Thankfully for Billie, who is married to actor Laurence Fox, her parents are happy to get behind her.
Talking about her role as high-class hooker Belle de Jour on the ITV2 show, she said: “They are okay with it… nothing really shocks them when it comes to certain choices I make.
“My dad doesn’t watch it, that would be a bit weird. But my mum finds it hilarious!”

The former Dr Who star also revealed why she cheekily referred to Timelord David Tennant as David Ten-Inch after joining as his assistant Rose Tyler in 2006.
She lets slip for the first time on The Justin Lee Collins Show tonight on ITV2 that a pal slept with him — and reported back to her on the size of his manhood.
She laughed: “One of my friends who was privy to the information handed it to me on a plate!”
Billie — who had a No 1 at 15 with Because We Want To — also admits she can only recall the lyrics to one of her seven chart hits — Honey To The Bee.
Billie — who gave birth to baby Winston last October — said: “It’s like I was a completely different person then.
“I was really young, naïve, hopeful and desperate. I was really hungry for it and now I’m like, ‘whatever’.”
