Winston James Fox Is Born!

Congratulations to Billie and Laurence on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Winston James Fox! Billie gave birth earlier today, mother and baby are both said to be doing well and new dad Laurence told reporters outside the hospital: 'I feel fantastic'.

Im so happy for you both, if we get any more news it will be posted asap!

Edit: Chris Evans who visited Billie this afternoon told reporters outside the Hospital that the baby weighed 6lb 11oz! Aww so cute! The Radio 2 DJ said mother and baby were "fantastic". Evans said, "Mum is very happy and I am really pleased, there are some tears of joy up there." He added that Piper is expected to be in hospital until at least tonight. Her husband Laurence Fox drove her to the hospital and was present for the birth. Mr Fox celebrated the birth with a pint of lager in the local Green Man pub next to the Portland yesterday with a group of friends.

The proud father showed off mobile phone pictures of his son. Mr Fox told friends: 'You have no idea what's going on but it's amazing.' He told friends that he had initially panicked because he couldn't get the car to start after his wife went into labour. But while Fox remained close-lipped on the name of their newborn when asked about his son's name, he said: 'That's a private moment.'Billie's ex-husband Chris Evans wasn't quite so discreet, revealing on his blog that Piper and Fox had named their baby Winston James Fox. He wrote: "At the time of this writing, the little fella is not even fifteen hours old. "He is cute as you like and didn't cry once for the few minutes I was there which was just a few moments ago." Evans said the boy was born at 1am. The Radio 2 DJ was one of the first visitors to arrive - bearing a present - at the hospital with new wife, golfer Natasha Shishmanian.

A tired-looking Laurence said of his new-born son: "He is beautiful, he is sweet." When asked about Billie's labour, he said she was in labour for 26 hours before coming to the hospital in the early hours of this morning.
