ITV3 Adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel, starring Billie Piper as heroine Fanny Price. The shy teenager is sent to live with her affluent relatives in Northampton, and finds cousins Maria and Julia Bertram preoccupied with their own lives and Aunt Norris spiteful and demeaning.
However, she finds solace and a true companion in cousin Edmund - until the Crawfords arrive fresh from London society. Jemma Redgrave, Michelle Ryan and Maggie O’Neill also star!
