Billie's Trip To Miami

From: Dailymail.co.uk
As Britain endures the Big Chill, it seems most celebrities are migrating to sunnier climes to celebrate New Year.
Billie Piper, 26, and husband Laurence Fox, 30, are taking a winter break in Miami with their two-month-old son Winston James. The Doctor Who actress looked to be taking to her latest role – motherhood – with ease.
An onlooker said: ‘She looked relaxed, content and just generally very happy. They seemed like any other young family. Billie clearly adores her son.’
The family spent the afternoon on a public beach in Miami. Fox attempted to read and sunbathe, while Piper relaxed in the shade and cradled the child, who was wrapped in a sarong.
The couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on New Year’s Eve. Piper appeared considerably better rested than she has in recent weeks.
Last month she was pictured with a look of exhaustion familiar to any new mother as she attempted to take Winston on a trip to the supermarket.
The baby has only been seen a handful of times in public since he was born by Caesarean section at the private Portland Hospital in London on October 21.
She gave birth after a gruelling 26-hour labour. He weighed 6lb 11oz. The star of ITV’s Secret Diary Of A Call Girl has said she plans to take a break from acting to concentrate on her family.
Check out the article on the daily mail website for pictures, they look so adorable together, Winston is so cute, hope the have a good time!

The Shadow In The North On Tonight

The Shadow in The North is on Alibi, tonight at 7pm, don’t forget to watch it, its awesome! Here’s a small article about it from the Alibi website!

-"Phillip Pullman is best known for the smash-hit His Dark Materials trilogy. But he’s also the creator of the thrilling fantastical Sally Lockhart series. And here’s the second of her adventures to be brought to the small screen.
Billie Piper – having completed her unlikely trajectory from has-been singer to national treasure – first played Sally in The Ruby in the Smoke, adapted from the first of Phillip Pullman’s Lockhart yarns. Pullman, who has achieved immense acclaim for his titanic His Dark Materials novels, describes the Sally Lockhart stories as “old-fashioned Victorian blood-and-thunder” – unashamedly OTT with breathless heroes and diabolical villains."

Billie Renews Wedding Vows

New mother Billie Piper and husband Laurence Fox plan to celebrate their first wedding anniversary by recreating their marriage and renewing their vows.
Laurence, 30, who starred in the TV thriller Wired, married Billie after they met while appearing in a stage play together last year.

Winston was born by emergency Caesarean section weighing 6lb 11oz at London’s Portland Hospital. Unusually, Billie has remained so close to ex-husband DJ Chris Evans, that he was among the first to visit after Winston’s birth.

Billie’s former Dr Who co-star David Tennant is among those invited, though it is uncertain whether he will manage to attend due to his back injury, which has forced him to step down from his role as Hamlet in a Royal Shakespeare Company production.
The happy couple – who wed on New Year’s Eve – have made a pact to do so every year.
“It’s a very sweet thing and they want to reinstate their love every year with a mock wedding re-bonding and re-tying the knot,” revealed a source close to the singer and actress, 26.
“Billie says she’ll stop short of wearing her ivory wedding dress but she will be wearing that same black coat she was pictured in draped over her shoulders.”

The couple, who welcomed their first child – Winston James – in October, are set to visit the Parish Church of St Mary’s near their home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, on December 31.
“They plan to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the White Horse Pub which is where they celebrated their wedding,” added the source.
They have, we hear, invited “a small group of close friends” to their £750,000 home after the pub.

Billie Does Her Bit For Charity.

Billie Piper has made a pledge to give one per cent of her earnings to charity for the first ten weeks of the New Year.
The television leading lady told me she was ‘delighted’ to be part of a new fundraising effort called Taking on the Tough Stuff, organised by Comic Relief for Red Nose Day.
The effort, whereby British actors will be asked to donate one per cent of their pay cheques between January 1 and March 13 (the actual Red Nose Day) will help Comic Relief to tackle social issues involving the underprivileged.
Billie, who emerged as a star after playing Rose opposite David Tennant in BBC’s Dr Who, joins charter members Bill Nighy, Sophie Okonedo and James McAvoy, James Nesbitt, Natascha McElhone and Laurence Fox in helping to highlight the initiative.

Get Well Soon

Earlier this week, the actor was unable to take part in a peformance of Hamlet due to his injury, and the Royal Shakespeare Company has released a statement confirming that he won't be returning to the stage until after Christmas while he recovers from the operation.
"My back problem has progressed to the point where it is currently impossible for me to carry on without surgery," Tennant said earlier this week.
His role in Hamlet will be played by his understudy, Edward Bennett, until he returns in the New Year. Tennant added: "I want to get back onstage as quickly as possible and I am very grateful to Ed who has courageously got to grips with the role but in a much shorter time. It's a fantastic achievement."
CrazyBoutBillie would like to wish David a very speedy recovery!

Call Girl Three In 2009

Where are you at with series three right now?
“We haven’t started pre-production officially. Official pre-production begins when you’ve hired your director, and that will happen at the end of February. But we have five scripts now and we’ll commission another three soon, so right now we’re really working on the scripts and the stories.”

How many series have you planned for?
“We’re only planning for this series, but we’ve always got our eye on the next series. So, for example, we won’t be killing anybody off. We don’t know yet if we’re having a fourth series - we would hope to - but we have to make sure we have an eye on our richest characters to carry us through. So obviously that’s Belle, but there’s also Bambi (Ashley Madekwe), who is a significant character in series two and will be in three. And Ben (Iddo Goldberg) and Belle’s family.”

What else can we expect from series three?
“The main thing is that she’s trying to be a writer and that’s affecting her escorting work a lot, because she’s trying to get bigger and better experiences in the bedroom in order to be able to write about it. So you get the comic effect of that, because she knows she’s going to have to write about the experience. You can also expect Bambi to meet an extraordinary client, who she falls in love with, and Ben to decide that he’s got to grow up and take his life in a whole new direction.”
