BARB have released the overnight viewing figures for episode 13, Journey's End, which aired last night on BBC One.
The final episode was watched by an unofficial audience of 9.4 million viewers. Seeing as the final official ratings are always about a million or so higer than the unofficial, Journey's End safely exceeded its 10 million target.
The episode recieved 49.9% of the total television audience - nearly half of everyone who was watching television at the time was watching Doctor Who.
The finale peaked at 9.8 million viewers during the last fifteen minutes, making Doctor Who the highest rated programme on Saturday, and the highest rated of the week.
