Billie Piper has revealed that she was pleased with how her character, Rose Tyler, left the show at the end of Series 4.The actress, who appeared as the Doctor's much-loved companion from 2005 to 2006, bowed out at the end of the show's second series. But she made a timely return last year and reprised the role for 3 episodes.
In the end, she and the Doctor were forced to separate once again, however this time she was left with a human version of the Time Lord who she could grow old and live happily ever after with."I was pleased with it," Piper said. "You kind of want to go with Doctor #1, but it just couldn't be. But it's fun. It was great, and an adventurous and epic finale to the show."She added: "I was pleased, and it's always really good fun to go back and do Doctor Who."
